Description
Tessarion had blue scales, with wings dark as cobalt. As a secondary color, her claws, crest, and belly scales were as bright as beaten copper. Even her flames were cobalt blue in color. She was of fighting size but still a young dragon and nimbler in the air than her older brothers. Tessarion was three times smaller than Vermithor and not as fearsome a beast as him in comparison.[1]
History
Daeron rode Tessarion into the Battle on the Honeywine in the Reach to save Lord Ormund Hightower. Their arrival won the fight.[1]
Tessarion fought Addam Velaryon and Seasmoke in the Second Battle of Tumbleton. Vermithor killed Seasmoke but died of his wounds soon afterward. Tessarion was also mortally wounded: the battle had begun at night but she lingered for hours past daybreak. Three times she tried to fly again and three times she failed. By late afternoon she still writhed in pain on the ground. At sunset, the dying Tessarion was finally put out of her misery by three arrows loosed into her eyes by Billy Burley at Lord Benjicot Blackwood's word.[1]

Quotes about Tessarion
Defeat seemed imminent ... until a shadow swept across the battlefield, and a terrible roar resounded overhead, slicing through the sound of steel on steel. A dragon had come.[1]
The victory belongs to Tessarion. [1]
