The World of Ice & Fire is a work on history and geography written by Maester Yandel. Its writing began after Greyjoy's Rebellion during the reign of Robert I Baratheon, and was finished during the reign of Tommen I Baratheon.[1] It contains many excerpts from manuscripts written by Archmaester Gyldayn,[1] such as Fire & Blood, Being a History of the Targaryen Kings of Westeros.
