Ser Tybolt participated in the Ashford Tourney, beginning the tourney as a challenger. In his first tilt he chose to challenge Ser Androw Ashford and defeated him after six broken lances. In one of his later tilts, Ser Tybolt was unhorsed by Ser Jon Penrose and broke his sword in his fall, but fought back with shield alone to win the bout and remain a champion.[1]
