Warden of the North
Warden of the North is a title traditionally held by House Stark, the lords paramount of The North.[1] However due to recent circumstances, the title has passed to House Bolton. The fifth largest city in Westeros, White Harbour, is within the North.
Responsibilities
The initial appointment of a warden in northern Westeros was likely to help deal with the Wildlings. The territory of the North also has shores on both coasts, making pirates and reavers a real threat.

For his involvement in the betrayal of Robb Stark, the King In The North, Lord Roose Bolton was appointed the new Warden of the North for King Tommen I.
