Bandallon
The Reach and the location of Bandallon
Bandallon is the seat of House Blackbar in the Reach. It is located on the shores of the Sunset Sea,[1] west of Brightwater Keep, northwest of Oldtown, and southwest of the Shield Islands.[2]
History
In 89 AC, King Jaehaerys I Targaryen stopped at Bandallon during one of his progress around the Reach. As Jaehaerys was estranged from his sister-wife, Queen Alysanne Targaryen, at the time, Lord Blackbar's youngest daughter boldly tried to seduce the king. Jaehaerys refused her advances, however.[3]
