Cheese is often included with meals, such as breakfast[1] and supper.[2] Wedges[3] can be cut from wheels of cheese.[4] Cheese can be veined with wine.[5] Mold can grow on cheese.[6] Peppers stuffed with cheese is a food served in Dorne.[7][8] Bread and cheese can be offered as part of the guest right custom.[9]

Tyrion Lannister thinks of Illyrio Mopatis, a cheesemonger and magister of Pentos, as the "lord of cheese". Tyrion is served foul-smelling cheeses while staying at Illyrio's manse.[19]
While staying in the cave of the three-eyed crow, Bran Stark and his companions have cheese and milk from the goats living in the caverns.[24]
