The Frey Pies Theory suggests that Wyman Manderly orders the killing of three Freys (Rhaegar, Symond, and Jared) who disappeared on the way from White Harbor to Barrowton, and Lord Manderly then has them baked them into the three huge meat pies he brings for Ramsay Bolton's wedding at Winterfell.

Supporting Evidence

• Lord Wyman Manderly suggests to Davos Seaworth he means to have all three Freys murdered and intimates about giving guest gifts to the Freys in line with their house's breach of guest right at the Red Wedding, where his son Wendel was slain.
• Big Walder Frey suspects Wyman had his cousins killed while on the road from White Harbor to Barrowton. Wyman insists the Freys travelled ahead of his column out of impatience over Wyman's slow pace, and he is distraught at their disappearance.
• Lord Wyman presents three huge pork pies at the wedding in Winterfell, one for each of the missing Freys. Wyman serves portions to Roose, Walda Bolton, Hosteen Frey, and Aenys Frey, to ensure they would eat it. He serves them with great (drunken) exuberance. Wyman himself eats two portions from each pie.
• At the wedding feast, Lord Wyman has the bard Abel sing about the Rat Cook for them, a song about an evil cook who kills a prince and bakes him into a pie he then serves to an Andal king. Shortly after Bran Stark dreamed Robb Stark's death, he reflected on the legend of the Rat Cook: he was transformed into a giant white rat by the gods, not because of his deeds, but specifically because he dishonored guest right.
