Galyeon is one of the seven singers chosen to compete at the wedding of King Joffrey I Baratheon and Lady Margaery Tyrell. At the wedding, he is the third singer to perform. Accompanied by six musicians, he sings only one song: a seventy-seven verses long song about the Battle of the Blackwater.
Galyeon testifies during Tyrion's trial that he saw how Tyrion picked up Joffrey's chalice and pour the last of the poisoned wine on the floor.
