House Qoherys of Harrenhal is an extinct noble house from Harrenhal in the riverlands. They blazoned their arms with a flaming saltire, red and yellow, between four white skulls, on black.[1]
History
According to a semi-canon source, House Qoherys was of Valyrian descent.[2]
Ser Quenton Qoherys, the master-at-arms of Dragonstone, was granted the ruined castle of Harrenhal by King Aegon I Targaryen, as House Hoare was extinguished in the burning of Harrenhal during Aegon's Conquest.[3] Quenton was succeeded by his grandson, Lord Gargon the Guest, who was murdered in the rebellion of Harren the Red during the reign of King Aenys I Targaryen.[4] House Harroway was then granted the lands and incomes of Harrenhal.[5]
