The liberation of Stone Hedge takes place during the War of the Five Kings.

Prelude

The burning of Stone Hedge by Ser Gregor Clegane and the Mountain's men takes place near the start of the War of the Five Kings.[2]

With the Battle of the Camps saving Riverrun from the Lannister army besieging it, Robb Stark is proclaimed King in the North and King of the Trident. Robb gives the riverlords leave to liberate their own seats and lands from Lannister occupation.[3]

Battle

Lord Jonos Bracken leaves Riverrun with the intent to recover and rebuild Stone Hedge from Lannisters. He is successful but is injured in the fight, while his nephew, Hendry Bracken is slain.[3]
