History
Lord Commander Qorgyle entered the Night's Watch some time before Ser Denys Mallister.[2] During his term, Castle Black used to send patrols east towards Eastwatch-by-the-Sea every third day and west towards the Shadow Tower every second day.[3] He once visited Winterfell with an escort of a dozen men, including Mance Rayder, to meet with Lord Eddard Stark.[4]
After Qorgyle's death, Jeor Mormont was named Lord Commander in 288 AC.[1]
