Talk: Feudalism
I believe we should link to Wikipedia's article on Feudalism rather than providing our own version here. Articles should be ASoIaF-centric. A 'Feudalism in ASoIaF' article might be suitable, focusing on features of feudalism in Westeros that might differ from historical analogues. --Ran 18:16, 23 April 2007 (CDT)
I do agree, I was just slapping together some general definitions and then i was going to reword them to refer to customs and instances in our project, citing examples, etc.... It's a work in progress, Ran ;) --Daena the defiant 19:26, 23 April 2007 (CDT)
- Fair enough. :) --Ran 04:32, 24 April 2007 (CDT)
(or we can just kill the whole thing - opinions, please? --Daena the defiant 19:27, 23 April 2007 (CDT))
- We should create a template such as this one in the Star Trek Wiki. This should be usesd in articles such as George R. R. Marin, A Storm of Swords, or POV.
- On the feudalism article, I think it could stay if it was rewritten with ASOIAF in mind, that is, comparing real-life feudalism with the social structure in Westeros. --The hairy bear (Send me a raven) 05:27, 24 April 2007 (CDT)
- I agree, It will take some time and effort but I think we can make it to reflect ASOIAF world, with real word references only for padding the obvious. --Mor 17:23, 5 November 2011 (UTC)

Name
Maybe it should be better named as 'Feudal society' or 'Feudal society in the Seven Kingdoms' or something like that? --Mor 14:01, 2 May 2012 (UTC)
