Family Trees

Hello! I see that you've been adding dates to the family trees. I understand that this must have been quite some work, but I do feel that we should either be able to put dates for every character, or no character at all. That would keep all the family trees in the same style. Also, I've been working on recalculating the years of birth for all characters for which this can be done. I'm still placing the right quotes with the right characters, but I've passed the 312th character for which the year of birth can be determined in some fashion. For some, an exact year can be determined, for a lot, there are two options left, or there is a gap of several years in which they could have been born. I still have quotes form Feast, Dance, and Dunk&Egg to add, but I hope to be done with this in a few weeks, so I can put the info on the wiki. Whilst working, I have noticed that information for several characters on the wiki (including some of those whose family trees you've already edited) is wrong, but I did not want to change it yet without being able to place the explanation somewhere.

I think perhaps it's better to completely remove years from all the family trees, since it is not possible to place a year of birth for all characters. I do agree that the word deceased doesn't need to be in the trees either, the { } are enough.

Would you perhaps agree that the family trees would be better if they all remained in the same style?--Rhaenys_Targaryen 15:24, 31 May 2014 (UTC)

Uh, why the reverts?

Uthor Underleaf and Leo Tyrell (Longthorn) have both been reverted by you recently and I just don't see why that would be justified. Is there any downside to the page numbers? Am I somehow mistaken in noticing that the ASOS reference to the Longthorn is in chapter 38, not 19? LuisDantas 23:47, 20 January 2015 (UTC)

Different versions of the books, all have different page numbers for different editions, I wouldn't have a clue what chapter its in I didn't notice you had changed the chapter Lord Knightmare 02:12, 21 January 2015 (UTC)
Sorry, I still fail to follow. I provided the whole range of pages for the tale in Warriors 1, exactly in order to avoid such ambiguity. It was disappointing to see my effort erased just because. LuisDantas 00:44, 23 January 2015 (UTC)

What's your problem with capital A's and M's

Why are you reverting edits just because (Appears) or (Mentioned), has a capital letter in it? Foxyboy23 11:53, 16 February 2015 (UTC)

It was decided on the forum that as it isn't part of the name it shouldn't be capitalized Lord Knightmare 11:55, 16 February 2015 (UTC)

Where is that stated then, please? Foxyboy23 11:59, 16 February 2015 (UTC)

Right here Lord Knightmare 12:21, 16 February 2015 (UTC)

Right ok, so one person has just made that decision on his/her own. No discussion about it at all, cool. Thanks anyway. Foxyboy23 12:53, 16 February 2015 (UTC)

No one disagreed with it Lord Knightmare 13:02, 16 February 2015 (UTC)

Yeah that's probably because I didn't even know about that page on the forums, so I'm sorry that I couldn't post a reply about this topic. And for future reference maybe it'll be a good idea to write in the summary why you're reverting edits so people know the reason. Foxyboy23 13:21, 16 February 2015 (UTC)
