Smooth-faced and handsome.

History

Baelor spent eight years as a hostage in Oldtown after the Greyjoy Rebellion. When he came back to the Iron Islands, he was a worshiper of the Faith of the Seven. He lost his father during the Greyjoy Rebellion.[1]

Recent Events

A Feast for Crows

Lord Baelor stops at Ten Towers to consult with Lord Rodrik Harlaw before making his way to Old Wyk for the kingsmoot.[2] At the kingsmoot, he asks Victarion Greyjoy if he would end the war. Baelor moves on when Victarion rejects the idea.[1] He is one of the first to shout Asha Greyjoy's name at the kingsmoot.[3]

After Euron Greyjoy is raised as King of the Iron Islands at the kingsmoot, Baelor refuses to acknowledge Euron and attempts to leave the kingsmoot. Victarion closes Nagga's Cradle, and Baelor is taken and delivered to King Euron in chains. As punishment for his refusal to acknowledge his new liege, he is cut into seven pieces, representing his faith, by Euron's crew.[4] Euron claims Baelor's sable cloak for himself.[4]

Quotes by Baelor

Balon was mad, Aeron is madder, and Euron is maddest of them all.[1]
