Contents
Prelude
After the death of Renly, Loras Tyrell murders Robar Royce and Emmon Cuy in his rage,[1] and returns to Bitterbridge with a fifth of Renly's knights.[1]
Fighting
After the news of Renly's death reach his camp, were sixty thousand men are encamped, a fight breaks out between those who wish to declare for Stannis and those who follow House Tyrell's decision not to.[2] Ser Parmen Crane and Ser Erren Florent, two knights sent by Stannis to retrieve the army are taken prisoner.[2]
Lord Randyll Tarly seizes the stores and puts many men - mainly Florents - to the death. Lord Lorent Caswell locks himself inside his castle to avoid the hostilities.[3]
Aftermath
Ser Parmen and Ser Erren are taken to Highgarden as hostages.[4]
