The Frostfangs are a mountain range beyond the Wall. They lie to the northeast of the Shadow Tower.[1] They are inhospitable, their jagged peaks eternally covered in snow.[2] They cannot sustain large numbers of people.[3] The easiest way into the Frostfangs is to follow the Milkwater, the river that begins in the Frostfangs and descends into the lands below them.
