Recent Events
A Game of Thrones
Galbart is a part of Robb Stark's war council when Robb calls his banners.[3] When the northern host splits at the Twins, he stays with Robb, participating in the Battle of the Whispering Wood and the Battle of the Camps.[4]
A Clash of Kings
After the Battle of Oxcross, Galbart raids along the coast.[5]
A Storm of Swords
When news reaches Riverrun of Robett Glover's capture at Duskendale, Galbart fears for his brother's life. It is partly that fear that causes King Robb Stark to trade Martyn Lannister for Robett. Galbart is among the northern lords that march with Robb to the Twins to attend the wedding of Edmure Tully. With Brynden Tully remaining at Riverrun as Warden of the Southern Marches, Galbart is named commander of Robb's scouts and outriders. Lady Catelyn Tully considers him a good man, loyal and steady, but without Brynden's brilliance.
On the way to the Twins, after receiving news of the death of Balon Greyjoy, Robb advances his plan to retake Moat Cailin while Victarion Greyjoy is away. Galbart is ordered by Robb to go with Lord Jason Mallister and Lady Maege Mormont to Seagard and sail up the Neck to find Greywater Watch so that the crannogmen can direct Robb's army around the rear of the ancient fortress.[6] Though Jason later remains at Seagard, Galbart's and Maege's whereabouts are currently unknown.
Family
HBO's Game of Thrones
Galbart Glover is played by Mark Coney in the television adaptation. However, his only line of dialogue is to shout "Renly is not right!" at Robb Stark's council meeting. This has led to him having something of a cult status of popularity among fans of the series. This line was not in the novels and was ad-libbed by the actor.
