Ser Glendon Hewett is a knight of House Hewett and a member of the Night's Watch stationed at Eastwatch-by-the-Sea.[1] His relation to Lord Humfrey Hewett is unknown.

Appearance and Character

Glendon is tall,[1] strong, and seasoned.[2] He has a brusque demeanor.[1]

Recent Events

A Storm of Swords

Ser Glendon is among the men allied with Lord Janos Slynt when they arrive at Castle Black from Eastwatch-by-the-Sea.[1] Glendon and his men drag Jon Snow with Rattleshirt before Janos and Ser Alliser Thorne;[1] Glendon kicks Jon in the ribs.[2]

A Feast for Crows

Glendon serves as master-at-arms of Eastwatch.[3]

A Dance with Dragons

In the absence of Cotter Pyke, Glendon is named temporary commander of Eastwatch. Jon, now Lord Commander of the Night's Watch, is informed of Glendon's appointment in a message from Cotter and Maester Harmune. Jon is troubled by the news, as Glendon, while capable, was friendly with Alliser and the late Janos.[2]
