Lord Guncer Sunglass is the Lord of Sweetport Sound and head of House Sunglass. He is a pious man.[1] He prays three times a day.[2]

A Clash of Kings
Lord Guncer supports Stannis Baratheon's claim to the Iron Throne as his vassal. Stannis complains about Lord Guncer's constant muttering about the will of the Seven.[3] After Melisandre had the septuary on Dragonstone burned, Lord Guncer approached Stannis and told him he could no longer support his claim. Stannis had him promptly thrown in the cells beneath Dragonstone.[4]
A Storm of Swords
Lord Guncer was burned alive on the orders of Queen Selyse while Stannis Baratheon was fighting the Battle of the Blackwater.[5]
