House Farring is a noble house of the Crownlands. According to semi-canon sources, they blazon their arms with per pale purple and white, two knights combatant with swords, counter-charged.[1]

It is not entirely clear when the Farrings joined Stannis Baratheon's cause during the War of the Five Kings, but most likely they are sworn to Dragonstone and have been with him since the beginning.

  • Bryen Farring is a squire to Stannis Baratheon.
  • Bryen Farring is present when they burn the septuary on Dragonstone.
  • Ser Gilbert Farring commands the garrison at Storm's End left there by Stannis.
  • According to rumor, Lady Annara may have slept with Black Walder, one of Lord Walder's great-grandsons and grandson of the first of Lord Walder's sons.
