Neither their arms or their words appear in the books, but according to semi-canon sources their arms are blazoned per fess, a white crescent moon in the first on black above a green field, a sprucetree line between.[3]

History

During Aegon's Conquest, Lords Fell, Errol, and Buckler ambushed Orys Baratheon's host as he crossed the Wendwater. The lords later hid in the kingswood, but Rhaenys Targaryen set the forests ablaze with Meraxes.[2]

Lord Fell was smothered in a brothel by Dornish assassins during the First Dornish War.[4]

At the beginning of the Dance of the Dragons, Lady Fell was executed for refusing to renounce her oaths to Rhaenyra Targaryen.[5] Ser Willis Fell, who had been a member of the Kingsguard of King Viserys I Targaryen, sided with King Aegon II Targaryen, and he successfully brought Princess Jaehaera to the safety of Storm's End after the fall of King's Landing to Rhaenyra.[6] After the end of the war, Willis became Lord Commander of the Kingsguard for Aegon III Targaryen. Willis died of Winter Fever, however.[7]

In 209 AC, Ser Thurgood Fell rode in the tourney at Ashford Meadow.[8]

At the beginning of Robert's Rebellion, Lord Fell remained loyal to the Iron Throne and together with Lords Grandison and Cafferen planned to join their forces to bring Lord Robert Baratheon's head to King Aerys II Targaryen. Robert defeated them in three battles at Summerhall, slaying Lord Fell in single combat and capturing his son Silveraxe, who turned to Robert's side afterwards.[9]
