House Goodbrook is a noble house sworn to Riverrun. Neither their arms or their words appear in the books, but according to semi-canon sources they blazon their arms a blue wavy bend on gold.[1]
The name of the keep of the Goodbrooks and its location are unknown. The lands of House Smallwood are near those that belong to House Goodbrook.[2]

History
Lord Goodbrook was one of the lords from the Riverlands that stayed loyal to King Aerys II Targaryen during Robert's Rebellion, instead of following the banner of their liege lord. For this, Lord Hoster Tully descended upon his village and burned it. After the war, his son made peace with King Robert I and Lord Hoster, but the wealth of the Goodbrooks had been substantially reduced from the fighting.[3]
Recent Events
A Storm of Swords
Traveling with the brotherhood without banners, Arya Stark visits a village that was Lord Goodbrook's. Notch explains to her that Lord Hoster Tully had put the town to the torch after Lord Goodbrook remained loyal to King Aerys II during Robert's Rebellion. After the war, Lord Goodbrook's son made peace with King Robert I and Hoster.
During the march to the Twins for his own wedding, Edmure Tully enjoys the company of Marq Piper, Lymond Goodbrook, Patrek Mallister, and the young Vances.
While he is killing Robb's men in the camps during the Red Wedding, Ser Garse Goodbrook is slain by Sandor Clegane.
A Feast for Crows
Ser Jaime sees the Goodbrook banner besieging Riverrun under the command of Daven Lannister. This likely indicates that either Lord Lymond Goodbrook bent his knee to the Lannisters and was pardoned by King Tommen I, or Lymond Goodbrook remains a hostage after the Red Wedding to ensure the loyalty of his kin.
House Goodbrook at the end of the third century
The known Goodbrooks during the timespan of the events described in A Song of Ice and Fire are:
- Lord Lymond Goodbrook, a young lord. Probably the son of the Lord Goodbrook that supported the Targaryens during Robert's Rebellion.
With unspecified familiar relationship to the lord of the house there are also:
- Ser {Garse Goodbrook}, the husband of Kyra Frey. Slain at the Red Wedding.
- Walder Goodbrook, his son.
- Jeyne Goodbrook, his daughter.
