Behind the Scenes
It is likely that House Tudbury is a homage to one of the main characters of early Wild Cards stories: Tom Tudbury, the Great and Powerful Turtle. Wild Cards is a collection of science fiction novels and derived products edited by George R. R. Martin, the author of A Song of Ice and Fire.
