History
In 130 AC, the advance of the westermen through the riverlands was briefly halted when Lord Joseth sallied forth to join Lord Petyr Piper and the remains of his defeated host, but Petyr died in the battle at Acorn Hall and Joseth fell back inside his castle.[1]
At the Second Battle of Tumbleton, Lord Smallwood had scraped together fresh levies of greybeards and green boys, though had suffered grievous losses in the autumn battles.[2]
