Karlon Stark was a younger son of Winterfell. He was the first Lord of Karl's Hold and the founder of House Karstark.[1]
History
A thousand years ago, after putting down a rebel lord, Karlon was granted lands for his success and bravery. Originally the castle he built was named Karl's Hold but eventually the name changed to Karhold and the Karhold Starks became the Karstarks.[1]
