Lhazar is an area of the semi-arid lands south of the Dothraki sea. A region of pastures and hills, it is inhabited by the Lhazareen, a people of sheep herders, and in the southern parts by Ghiscari. There are three cities in Lhazar, Hesh, Lhazosh, and Kosrak. The Skahazadhan passes through northern Lhazar.[1]

Lhazar borders the Dothraki sea to the north and Slaver's Bay to the south. It is connected to Meereen via the Khyzai Pass in the sandstone mountains.[2]
