Lord Buckler was the Lord of Bronzegate and the head of House Buckler during the reigns of kings Viserys I and Aegon II Targaryen.[1] His given name is unknown.

History

At the start of the Dance of the Dragons, Lord Buckler was arrested and put in the Red Keep's dungeons by Aegon II Targaryen's supporters for supporting his half-sister, Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen. When given the choice between swearing his allegiance to Aegon II or being killed by the King's Justice, Lord Buckler was one of the nobles who chose to keep their sworn words and were beheaded for it. Their heads were mounted on spikes above the city’s gates.[1]
