Magister is a title held by the powerful in some Free Cities, such as Myr, Norvos, and Pentos.[1] It is similar to the qhoran or Westerosi steward.[2] They sometimes post Unsullied at their gates.[3]
Magisters elect the Prince of Pentos.[4] The magisters of that city sometimes lend money.[5]
