Ser Marlon Manderly is a cousin of Lord Wyman Manderly.[1] He is the commander of the White Harbor garrison.[2]
He is over six feet tall and quite stout. His beard and his eyes are grey.[1] Ser Marlon wears silver-colored armor, with engravings meant to look like flowing seaweed. His helm is modeled after the head of the Merling King.
A Dance with Dragons
He is curt when he questions Davos Seaworth in the Merman's Court.[1] Marlon is likely one of the few people his cousin entrusted with his true plans for Lord Davos, as Lord Wyman orders Ser Marlon,
"Cousin, take this creature to the Wolf's Den and cut off his head and hands. I want them brought to me before I sup. I shall not be able to eat a bite until I see this smuggler's head upon a spike, with an onion shoved between his lying teeth."[1]
Wyman Manderly isn't likely to give such a command if there is any chance that Ser Marlon would carry it through.
