Marq Merryweather was Lord of Longtable and head of House Merryweather during the reign of King Aegon III Targaryen.[2][1]

Character

Marq loved to feast. He thought his fellow regents were fools.[1]

History

During the Great Council of 136 AC, Lord Marq was among three regents selected by lot to serve in the regency for King Aegon III Targaryen.[2] Marq was considered an inoffensive, though undistinguished, choice.[1]

While the regents and Lord Torrhen Manderly, the Hand of the King, were discussing Aegon's first royal progress, the young king entered the room and dismissed them all, for he had come of age.[1]
