The moon is a natural satellite to the planet of George R. R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire world.

The moon looks the same as the Earth’s moon and goes through very similar phases.

Qartheen believe that dragons were hatched from a second moon that came too close to the sun and cracked, while Dothraki believe that the moon is a goddess, wife to the sun.[1]
