Ser Osmund Kettleblack is a member of House Kettleblack. He was a hedge knight. He has two brothers, Osfryd and Osney Kettleblack. He stands six feet six inches, most of it muscle, a hook nose, bushy eyebrows and a triangular brown beard.[1] He is now a member of the Kingsguard.

History
Ser Osmund served in the Stepstones, in the Disputed Lands riding with the Gallant Men, fighting for Lys and then Tyrosh. He claims to have been knighted on a battlefield by Ser Robert Stone, who is now dead.[2]
Recent Events
A Clash of Kings
Tyrion Lannister used Ser Osmund to infiltrate Cersei Lannister's attempts at creating a force of sellswords for herself. Ser Osmund is named to the Kingsguard by Cersei when Ser Boros Blount is stripped of his white cloak for cowardice, Tyrion thinks it ironic that Cersei replaced Blount with a man just as hollow. He guarded Joffrey I during the Battle of the Blackwater but took no part in the actual fighting.
A Storm of Swords
Ser Osmund was one of the Kingsguard assigned to bring Sansa Stark to the sept for her marriage to Tyrion Lannister. Ser Osmund was called as a witness for the prosecution during the trial of Tyrion Lannister for the death of King Joffrey I. His testimony was entirely made up.[3]
A Feast for Crows
Ser Osmund and Ser Boros Blount brought the news to Queen Cersei that Lord Tywin Lannister was dead. Ser Osmund and his brothers were ordered by the queen to dispose of the corpse of Shae. What they did with the corpse was of no concern.[4]
A Dance with Dragons
Thrown into a dungeon by Kevan Lannister when he hears that Cersei admitted to bedding all three of the Kettleblack brothers. Kevan plans to send them to the Wall if they plead guilty, if they plead not guilty they will face "Ser Robert Strong" in trial by combat.
