While Ser Davos Seaworth is imprisoned in the dungeon at Dragonstone, Porridge is one of his gaolers. He brings Ser Davos porridge for breakfast, for which Davos gives him his nickname. Davos feels the man has an odd sort of kindness, and suspects he feeds the rats in the dungeon.
