Prince of Summerhall was a title used by some younger sons of House Targaryen. While the heir apparent to the Iron Throne was known as the Prince of Dragonstone, younger siblings could receive the castle of Summerhall.

History

The pleasure castle of Summerhall was built by King Daeron II Targaryen.[1] His son, Maekar, received the castle and became known as the Prince of Summerhall.[2] In time, many sons of House Targaryen would hold the seat as Prince of Summerhall.[1]

The castle was destroyed in 259 AC during the reign of Maekar's son, Aegon V Targaryen, an event that became known as the Tragedy at Summerhall.[3]
