Quenton Hightower was the Lord of the Hightower and the head of House Hightower during the reign of King Maekar I Targaryen.[2]

History

When Grand Maester Pycelle was a boy, the grey plague hit Oldtown. Lord Quenton had the city gates closed, burned every ship in the port, and ordered that anyone trying to flee was to be killed. Once the plague burned itself out, Quenton rescinded those orders. On the day he did so, however, he and his young son were pulled from their horses by the survivors and had their throats slit.[2]
