Ralf Stonehouse, better known as Red Ralf Stonehouse is an ironborn raider and a member of House Stonehouse. He is captain of the ship Red Jester of the Iron Fleet.

Recent Events

A Feast for Crows

Red Ralf urges Lord Victarion Greyjoy to make a claim on the Seastone Chair.[1] Ralf was one of Victarion's champions at the kingsmoot.[2] At the feast celebrating the ironborn victory at the Battle of the Shield Islands, Ralf was one of those who shouted down King Euron's plans to sail to Slaver's Bay.[3]

A Dance with Dragons

Victarion Greyjoy gives Red Ralf the Iron Fleet's swiftest ships to sail the corsair's road along the northern coast of Sothoryos, where there are provisions for men who are not afraid to pay the iron price in the mud-and-blood towns in the Basilisk Isles. Victarion gave orders to join up again off the southern tip of the Isle of Cedars; only nine of those that had sailed with Red Ralf turned up, Red Ralf himself is among the missing.
