Rodrik Greyjoy was a claimant Lord of the Iron Islands and later court fool at Casterly Rock.[1]

History

Rodrik was a salt son of Lord Dalton Greyjoy, known as the Red Kraken. In 133 AC, Lord Dalton was slain by another of his salt wives, Tess, at Faircastle.[1]

A bloody power struggle ensued on the Iron Islands. By law, the Seastone Chair fell to Rodrik's elder half-brother, Toron, but Rodrik's father's cousins raised him up as Lord of the Iron Islands. After half a year, westermen invaded the Iron Islands in 134 AC. Rodrik was captured, gelded, and made a court fool to Lord Loreon Lannister at Casterly Rock.[1]
