Contents
History
He was once betrothed to Brienne of Tarth.[2] He was six years her senior, however he had no real interest in marrying her.[3]
Recent Events
A Clash of Kings
He was unhorsed by Brienne of Tarth during the meleé at Bitterbridge. He is a part of Renly I's army during the War of the Five Kings.[4] He is among the lords that go over to Stannis Baratheon after the death of Renly. He fights for Stannis at the Battle of the Blackwater and is captured. He is presented to the throne and bends the knee to King Joffrey I.
A Feast for Crows
Ser Ronnet was spotted by Ser Jaime Lannister riding at a quintain in the yard of the Red Keep.[5] When Ser Jaime was sent north to end the siege of Riverrun, Ser Ronnet accompanied him as his standard bearer. At Harrenhal Ser Jaime and Ser Ronnet discussed Ser Ronnet's previous betrothal to Brienne of Tarth and his utter disdain for her. Ser Jaime did not take kindly to Ser Ronnet's comments, in the end punching him.[6] After Harrenhal, Ser Jaime charged him with returning Ser Wylis Manderly to White Harbor via Maidenpool.[7]
