The Saduleon is a great cog owned by Illyrio Mopatis and captained by Groleo. It is renamed Balerion, after the Targaryen dragon of old.

Recent Events

A Clash of Kings

Magister Illyrio Mopatis sends the Saduleon, Joso's Prank and the Summer Sun to Qarth to bring Daenerys Targaryen back to Pentos in preparation for her return to Westeros. Daenerys accepts, but insists on renaming the ships as Vhagar, Meraxes and Balerion, in homage of the three powerful dragons of Aegon the Conqueror.[1]

A Storm of Swords

On the shores of Slaver's Bay near Meereen, Daenerys has the Balerion broken up to provide her army with the wood it needs to make instruments of war.[2]
