Book | A Feast for Crows |
Ser Shadrich, better known as Shadrich of the Shady Glen or the Mad Mouse, is a hedge knight. He is thin with a sharp nose and orange hair. His coat of arms is a large white mouse with red eyes on bendy brown and blue. The brown is for the lands he has crossed and the blue the rivers.[1]
History
Ser Shadrich fought on the losing side of the Battle of the Blackwater and was forced to pay a ransom he could not afford.[2]
Recent Events
A Feast for Crows
Ser Shadrich was escorting the merchant Hibald when Brienne of Tarth, Ser Creighton Longbough and Ser Illifer the Penniless came upon them. The three travelers offered to journey with Hiblad to Duskendale. He then explained to Brienne that he too searched for Sansa Stark and that the money that he would receive for finding her would return him to the status he had enjoyed before losing at the Battle of the Blackwater.[3] Ser Shadrich turns up at the Gates of the Moon as a newly hired hedge knight in service to Petyr Baelish.[4]
