The Siege of Darry occurs is a short siege during the War of the Five Kings.
Prelude
Castle Darry had been liberated from the Lannister occupation by the forces of House Darry. However, a fortnight later, Ser Gregor Clegane fell upon the castle and put it to the sword, killing also the eight years old Lord Lyman Darry, extinguishing House Darry.[2]
Siege
Ser Helman Tallhart leads a brief siege of Castle Darry that results in the surrender of the Lannister garrison.[2]
Aftermath
Darry is once again free of the Lannister occupation. However, Lord Roose Bolton, sends word to Ser Helman, claiming that King Robb orders him to put the castle to the torch and all captives to the sword and then join forces with Robett Glover to attack Duskendale.[3]
