Snow focuses on Jon Snow following the events of the War of the Five Kings and the Great War against the White Walkers.

Conception and development

A sequel series to Game of Thrones, with Kit Harington returning as Jon Snow, was reported by James Hibberd via The Hollywood Reporter on June 16, 2022.[1] In a BBC interview with Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen in Game of Thrones) less than a week later, Clarke confirmed that she had spoken to Harington about the project, and that it was essentially his creation.[2] The following day, George R. R. Martin confirmed that the series was in development, and had been considered around the same time as A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, The Sea Snake, and 10,000 Ships, but that it had not yet been greenlit.[3]
