In my opinion this page needs to make it clear that it's ''Bran'' who thinks Brynden is the three-eyed crow. We simply don't have anything directly confirming that he is. We have more to go on to know that he's Brynden Rivers than we do to know he's the crow. --[[User:Potsk|Potsk]] ([[User talk:Potsk|talk]]) 14:04, 18 December 2021 (UTC)

Brynden =/= Three-eyed crow

Although the TV show treats them as one and the same, that doesn't mean the books do. This is more than just a theory:

"Are you the three-eyed crow?" Bran heard himself say. A three-eyed crow should have three eyes. He has only one, and that one red. [...]
"A ... crow?" The pale lord's voice was dry. His lips moved slowly, as if they had forgotten how to form words. "Once, aye. Black of garb and black of blood."

Not only have the books never actually stated that he is the three-eyed crow, but this little dialogue almost states otherwise. Brynden clearly doesn't know what Bran means by "three-eyed crow". But this page is treating it like Brynden = Three-eyed crow is fact.

"He is waiting for you."
"The three-eyed crow?" asked Meera.
"The greenseer."

Leaf corrects Meera. She's taking them to the greenseer, not the three-eyed crow.
Every time the three-eyed crow and Brynden are mentioned as the same entity, it's within Bran's own thoughts or Bran asking Coldhands, who then basically shrugs and lists alternate names. Bran's guess is as good as ours.
In my opinion this page needs to make it clear that it's Bran who thinks Brynden is the three-eyed crow. We simply don't have anything directly confirming that he is. We have more to go on to know that he's Brynden Rivers than we do to know he's the crow. --Potsk (talk) 14:04, 18 December 2021 (UTC)

Hi Potsk,
The appendix at the end of ADWD says the following: "THE THREE-EYED CROW, also called THE LAST GREENSEER, sorcerer and dreamwalker, once a man of the Night's Watch named BRYNDEN, now more tree than man,".
I think that is enough to put the matter to rest, Brynden "Bloodraven" Rivers = The Three-Eyed crow. Bloodraven probably just doesn't control which form he takes in Bran's dream and he certainly can not know what term Bran made up to call him before their first physical meeting in ADWD. --Thomaerys Velaryon (talk) 16:38, 18 December 2021 (UTC)
