Tall Trees Town is a town in the Summer Isles, located on the southwest coast of the island Walano.[1]

Layout

The town is sunny, but shaded by the enormous Talking Trees, on the trunks of which is recorded the entire history of the Summer Islanders.[2]

History

In 19 AC, Tall Trees Town was sacked by a pirate fleet, who stole a fortune and carried off thousands into slavery. When King Aegon I Targaryen of Westeros heard of this event, he commanded that walls be raised around King's Landing.[3]

Summer Islanders who visited Sothoryos helped Ser Eustace Hightower sail his damaged Lady Meredith to Tall Trees Town. Eustace hired a new crew and continued on to Oldtown.[4]
