"The Princess and the Queen" is the sixth episode of the HBO medieval fantasy television series House of the Dragon. The runtime is 68 minutes. It is written by Sara Hess, and directed by series co-creator Miguel Sapochnik. Music was composed by Ramin Djawadi.
Ten years have passed since the previous episode. Several young characters are replaced by adult actors, most notably Rhaenyra Targaryen and Alicent Hightower, who are portrayed by Emma D'Arcy and Olivia Cooke from this episode onwards.
