Tom Flowers, known as the Bastard of Bitterbridge, was a bastard from House Caswell of Bitterbridge.[2]

History

Tom fought for the blacks and Rhaenyra Targaryen in the civil war known as the Dance of the Dragons. During the Battle on the Honeywine, the Bastard of Bitterbridge and Lord Thaddeus Rowan led a great host of mounted knights from the northeast, bearing down on the army of Lord Ormund Hightower. With another army cutting off Hightower's retreat, a victory for the blacks seemed imminent until Prince Daeron Targaryen arrived on his dragon, Tessarion, turning the tide of battle. By day's end, Tom was dead and burned amongst the reeds of the Honeywine.[2]
