Book A Feast for Crows

Tristifer Botley is the second son of Lord Sawane Botley. He has messy hair and large eyes. He is handsome.[1]

History

Tristifer was among the five boys brought to Pyke to become the foster son of Lady Alannys Harlaw after the Greyjoy Rebellion. He became friends with Asha Greyjoy but was sent away to Blacktyde after he and Asha were found touching each other.[2]

Recent Events

A Feast for Crows

Tristifer inherited the claim on the lordship of Lordsport when his father was killed by Euron Greyjoy and his elder brother died at Moat Cailin. He meets Asha Greyjoy at the Ten Towers where he declares his love for her and is spurned.[3] He is one of the champions for Asha at the kingsmoot.[4]

A Dance with Dragons

Tris sails to Deepwood Motte with Asha as she contemplates her next move. He purposes that the Ironborn under Asha abandon Westeros and try to make there fortune as traders. He is captured along with Asha Greyjoy and several other Ironborn when the castle is taken by the army of Stannis Baratheon, though despite not being a warrior he fought bravely in the battle.

He is later freed and ransomed along with the other ironborn by Tycho Nestoris who needs an escort to get him to Stannis whose army is marching on Winterfell.
