Vaes Orvik is a ruined city located in Essos, north of Port Yhos, in the southwestern portion of the red waste.[1]

History

Vaes Orvik was a small Qaathi city destroyed by the Dothraki during the Century of Blood. Because of the large number of slaves taken during its conquest, its Dothraki language name means City of the Whip.[2][3]
