History

While Eddard is out on a ride with Robert, Robert asks for the name of that one woman of his, the bastards mother, and Eddard replies Wylla. Eddard then states he does not want to talk about it. Robert than adds that she must have been quite a woman if she was able to make Eddard Stark forget his honor even for an hour.[1] Lord Edric Dayne recounted to Arya Stark that his mother had no milk and so Wylla became his wetnurse, long after Jon Snow had left for the North. Edric claimed that Wylla was Jon Snow's mother, too. She served many years at Starfall.[2]
