A Dance with Dragons
After her sister Wylla proclaims that the Freys killed Lord Eddard, Lady Catelyn, and King Robb, and that House Manderly should join Stannis Baratheon in the name of vengeance, Wynafryd reminds her:
Speak no ill of our Frey friends. One of them will be your lord and husband soon."[2]
Wynafryd pretends to be pleased with her betrothal to Rhaegar Frey. However, her grandfather, Lord Wyman Manderly, had already revealed his plans to her and she knows the marriage will never take place.[3]
